*** UPDATE — PUB MTG NOTICE: TERI ROAD ATD OPEN HOUSE ON OCT 3rd ***
Join us on October 3rd from 6pm-7pm at Rodriguez Elementary School (4400 Franklin Way Drive) for an opportunity to give input on proposed street improvements. Hosted by Austin Transportation Department. RSVP today!
Teri Road is a critical East-West street in Dove Springs, connecting thousands of neighbors to grocery stores, parks and Rodriguez Elementary School. But right now, the street lacks bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure to keep Austinites safe from 4 lanes of fast-moving traffic. Our Dove Springs volunteer leaders are working to add protected bike lanes and pedestrian safety improvements to Teri Road to keep everyone out of harm’s way.
In February 2017, the City of Austin hosted a public meeting regarding redesign for Teri Road. Since that meeting, community members have been waiting to hear from the city when they’ll share their proposed designs with safer infrastructure for all who navigate Teri Road.
