About the Armadillo

The Armadillo Classic is one of several amazing charity rides in Central Texas, and it’s the only ride that benefits bicycling itself. Your registration fee will go directly to Bike Austin and all donations raised will benefit Bike Austin Education Fund.  When you ride the Armadillo Classic, you’re  supporting a better ride for you and your family to safely experience the joys of bicycling in Central Texas at all levels.

Why support?
Bike Austin advocates for your rights and safety improvements while the Education Fund offers classes to the community at large on how to utilize active transportation methods at no cost.

Register today and enjoy the beautiful rolling scenery and wildflowers, get a great ride in & do something good for the Austin & Central Texas community at the same time.

Packet Pickup TBD

NOTE: If you are picking up a packet for a friend or family member you must bring this signed Packet Authorization Form. Electronic copies of the consent form will not be accepted.

How do I prepare?
Preparing for the Armadillo Classic is as fun––and important—as the ride itself. Here’s everything you need to know to be ready on ride day.

If you plan to ride a long distance and this is your first time, please consider training beforehand via our daily rides: www.bikeaustin/rides or contact Bike Austin for 1:1 training with one of our certified instructors. Bike Austin hosts daily free group rides that will help you get to where you want to be by ride day.
